Note: All the folklore Sylar used about Gabriel is said to be true, and the song/poem he tells Mohinder IS an actual poem.

"Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the descendants of David; and the virgin's name was Mary."
 Luke 1:26-27

I have to agree with the comment above me. This Christmas is the first one where I haven't been bursting with great tidings of joy and I've just been considering it another holiday like all the others. But this story reminded me of so much more. In it's own special way Mylar captured the spirit of Christmas.

This was absolutely beautiful. I felt enlightened by the end and happy for no reason at all. (Or maybe it was that perfectly done kiss at the end. It was just enough for the story.) Congrats and Merry Christmas

Okay... I'm up at 5 in the AM on Christmas and you just made my holiday. You capture the beauty that is the spirit of Christmas. Thank you so much for this beautiful piece of fiction. *hugs you*

Awww! Thankl you for sharing. This was beautifully written! I love how they meet by chance at the church, and how little Molly gets to enjoy the time there without noticing Sylar and being scared. Plus, his saying that Mohinder is always safe - ooo! <3

:D I'm glad you liked it! And no, it wasn't a Jesus reference, I didn't even think about that until you said it, rofl. ...I'm actually not even Christian, though I was raised Catholic. I just always think his spikes look like thorns...and I love spiky hair >.< I'm also a total mythology buff, I'll read anything that has to do with mythology from anywhere. The angels are one of the mythos that fascinate me, though I couldn't tell you why.

I'll have to go read your fic in a little while, my internet is running super slow (curse you dial-up!).

Hah! I notice little funky things like that, like whenever someone uses the word 'moon' or 'wolf' because it reminds me of my infamously OVERDUE Werewolf!Fic ...

*sigh* Sylar's hair ... oooooo ...

Hey! Dial-up-peoples unite! *cheers* I have to wait until I have access to school computers, or library computers, or the-place-I-go-on-weekends, for hight-speed. *snarls* I keep this document with all the links to fanart and videos and macros until I have high-speed, or a late night ...
