I just saw one of the most emo things I have ever seen. I just saw this guy and his t-shirt was that brown color that only band t-shirts and other fake vintage t-shirts are, and then on the shirt, done with that ridiculous fake vintage cracked printing was a sweater design. I wanted to comment on the goings on of the TMBG board. I wanted to applaud you really. That one chick I dont think was the worst of it, ya know, the one that keeps responding. But you have an extremely good point.

I have loved them since I first saw them on Tiney Toons way back in the day after Flood was released. I didnt go out and buy every albume, I only had that one and played it over and over. It was only in the last ten years I have branched out and heard their other stuff, and I have only seen ONE of their shows.

My point is that, especially on that forum, I have found TMBG fans to be the most stuck up fans of any band I have liked! I dont get it. Since they are totally not main streem and I think that's the whole issue. Everyone thinks they are so cool for being into and discovering this underground band. I hardly EVER go to that forum because I have run into that same attitude over and over. TMBG fans intimidate me!

But I wanted to say that your points were spot on and I love you for making them. ;)

Thanks. I'm glad that someone agrees with me. Your comment at the bottom was very encouraging. The rest of TMBG's fans should be more like you, and then they'd probably have more fans...

I totally dont even picture the Johns this way at all. So it's like why the hell are their fans so bitchy?

I mean I was kinda going through the history of how I got into them to kinda say even though I have loved them since shildhood, I'm pretty much a 'noob' when it comes to their music myself. I've gotten slammed beore for not knowing some of the basic stuff. I dont go to that forum much anymore because of it. I hang mostly with the Linnell_Girls. They seem pretty nice.
