Fiction: LOST
Dear Losties,
It is Friday, January 29, 2010 and we are quickly approaching the beginning to the end: LOST Season 6. I know this must feel bittersweet, but I am a late comer to the fandom myself, so I can hardly imagine what this is going to be like for those of you who watched it from the beginning. However, we do have the one thing we fans have always been able to rely on: creative license. That's right: icons, fanfiction, fan vids, mixes, etc. It's all available at the tip of our fingers. So even though the end is rapidly approaching, we must remember that we as fans hold onto the ability to cling like hell to our fandoms.
With these words, I welcome you to fictionlost , a LOST fanfiction community. Each week or so, I will challenge you to write a fic: a drabble, ficlet, long fic, whatever. It will be something different. Some weeks something small, others something big. Maybe I'll challenge you to a bizarre shipping. Or to write about a very minor character. I'll force you into someone's head or I'll ask you to re-write a scene. It all depends. So here it is. I truly hope you enjoy this comm. I look forward to watching the end of the series with you all and getting to know you as writers. Welcome and namaste.
