Dear Ms. Black.

So.

Fairies in your books are enable to lie. They physically cannot say things that are not true. As such, a fairy would not even be able to say the following things:

I’m lying.

I can lie.

I am the fairy that can lie.

This is me lying.

Your loophole doesn’t follow your own logic.

I'm confused-- the faeries in question actually say these things? That's not a loophole, or even a failed one. It's just...well, it goes against an established fact in her own books.

(Also, I think you mean "unable".)

Hey, very late response, but I just got around to reading the book now...

In the book, the first time she claims to be lying, she's just fallen over and is flat on the floor. The punnery is terrible, yes, but the loophole appears to be legal.
