Seriously though, this is awesome, and I absolutely love your Lucifer voice to pieces because PERFECTION, and just you are so good at getting across the creepy-ass way that Lucifer cares about Sam. And I love that Dean is blaming Sam and blaming himself and getting all twisted up because its WHAT HE WOULD DO. And I love this line more than air.

(Dean had been saying yes for months. Sam had lasted three years, alone.)

Because Lucifer's feelings are my feelings? We both like to play with Sam and we both get really really pissy when other people do bad things to him. Or treat him poorly. Or touch him in bad ways. So you know.

DEAN IS SUCH A DICK and I have so many issues with 5.04 verse Dean, oh my god, get your fucking head out of your fucking ass. And this is actually more sympathetic than I usually do toward him. Um.

Yeah, me and Vail have talked about our massive issues with 5.04 Dean before. THERE ARE SO FREAKING MANY.

Pfffffffft, I love your description of Lucifer XD because it kind of boils down to "he gets pissed when people touch whats his" and its TRUE.

You keep breaking my heart, you mean, mean person! But I love you for it.
And I'm all for author bias since I'm biased in the same direction. Love Lucifer caring for Sam like that - and the irony of the devil caring more for him than Dean could bring himself to.

PROBABLY I NEVER WILL augh I would feel bad except I totally don't, not at all, and that is probably a bad sign. Oh well.

I like your brain. It is a good place and full of good ideas. God, I've been wanting this fic for...kind of fucking ever, because someone needs to give Dean a smack in the face sometimes and Lucifer is really really good at that, because he is really the only one firmly in Sam's camp all of the time. Which is just sad.

Oh yes. I am just fascinated by what must have gone on with Sam during the time when they were apart, and how much he must have ripped himself up inside but simultaneously needed someone, anyone, and the only person he could allow himself to talk to was Lucifer because everyone else would be in danger just for being around him. And he would just get more and more twisted up and full of self-hatred and slkjdlkjf Lucifer is really really good at what he does, and Sam is really really good at what he does namely self-punishing, and augh. Hurts. So much.

It's also typical of Dean not to value his ( ... )
