Oh, lovely. Thank you for this; it's just what I need today. The 23rd of December and I had a funeral and seem to be getting a COLD. This was sweet and warm.

This was lovely. And because it's the Winchesters, of course the tender parts had to be mixed in with tragedy. Frankly, that was my favorite thing about the story, how memories of Mary kept cropping up, and I could tell Dean was hurting, but he used his little boy logic to keep his emotions in check. Even at that age he was learning to tamp his feelings down, poor guy.
