Does anyone know anything about the Gaelic College summer program? I'm looking at possibly going there this summer, and am wondering if anyone's been there, or knows someone who has, or whatnot.

Looks wonderful- but I couldn't find where it was located- is it in the US?

It's in Nova Scotia, although this year they've got a one-week session in Vermont, about seven miles south of Burlington.

I don't know anyone who's gone to the Gaelic College program, but if you're looking at Cape Breton fiddle programs, there's also the Ceilidh Trail School of Music, which I'm looking at right now.

I am a violin maker and have a lot of clients here in Nova Scotia who go in the summer. They LOVE it. The teachers are great and what better way to spend time. It is a long way from Halifax (where most planes land) about 4-5 hours drive. Absolutely beautiful. Right at the end of the Cabot trail.
Music all day and all night. Lots of dancing.
