I've been hunting for some fiddle tunes online, and I just found an excellent website with links to tunes in sheet music (gif, jpg) format and ABC format.

Good site. Why don't you try http://www.thesession.org ? THAT is the best site I have ever seen for tunes. However JC's Virtual Tunefinder has a huge collection of ABC's and all different kinds files for downloading. Have you tried that one?

that's an awesome site. thanks! i've recently learned how to use abc2ps and abc2mid programs so i have a much greater wealth of tunes at my disposal. yay!

Wealth of tunes is right! Good for you for learning ABC's! It's really not hard at all is it? It just looks so complicated at first.

Hey, that site is kool, but the music is a little differant from the songs that I have in some of my books. another great site for free sheet music is http://www.nataliemacmaster.com/recordings/sheetmusic.htm
