Weird day. I had a dentist appointment at 7. I only went because I have a couple funky spots on two of my teeth where there's a groove deep enough to catch a fingernail in. I keep finding white hairs. What's weird is that I had my hair dyed in November, and these hairs are way longer than my roots. The one I found today was over 4 inches long. They must be growing incredibly fast. Freaking rogue hairs.

I took all my stuff to HR Block, and they told me that as of a few weeks ago, they can no longer give estimates until after they've done your returns, although there's no obligation. So the poor guy plugged in all my numbers, then told me it would be 133 dollars. I was blown away. I felt horrible but I had to leave. He found an extra hundred on ( Read more... )

I did my taxes and FAFSA this morning. I just got emails saying that both of my tax returns were rejected because my adjusted gross income from last year (they use it to identify you) didn't match what the irs had on file. I pulled out my 2007 returns to double check it, and found that those returns have two different numbers for adjusted gross ( Read more... )

Hmm. I have more charges on my credit card than I have money in checking. Not by much, but I have to buy groceries and my pills, and possibly go to urgent care tomorrow, and I'm probably due for a Nymo bill before too long...which reminds me that I haven't remembered to get my mail in almost two weeks. I wish I could start this semester over again.  I've literally been sick since the first day of classes, which was January 20th.  I feel somewhat better, but my head still hurts and there's horrible stuff coming out my nose.  I somehow got scheduled for 27 hours this week, plus 5 at school.  Friday I felt reasonably good, even for a 9 hour day.  ( Read more... )

In a weird mood. I've been sick for 16 days. I had a cold, which apparently triggered a sinus infection. I finally feel somewhat better and I'm hoping it's for real. Until a little over a week ago, I had never heard anyone refer to a half moon cookie as a black and white cookie. I've heard it almost every day since, and it's pissing me off.

What I learned at LeMoyne is apparently still true. If I fall asleep listening to music, I will turn off my alarm clock without waking up when it goes off. For some reason this doesn't happen with tv, just with music. I intended to take about an hour long nap then do chores. I woke up at 2 am. But I felt pretty good so I'm doing chores now.
