I really appreciate hearing this from you. I've come to the same conclusion before, but the situation still gets to me. I'm ready to settle down, and I'm afraid that it won't happen.
Sounds like you are doing good. I have been worried, i have not seen you online in sometime now. I just finally finished all my responsiblities and can relax and maybe just maybe get onto a computer. Hope to talk to you soon love bailey
Well, if you really have strong feelings for her, I wouldn't give up on her just yet. 5 years is a long time to get to know someone, and you know that old saying, "actions speak louder than words"? (: Her actions seem to be doing just that. Maybe she's just scared of a change because she's holding onto her ex when he wants to let go of her. But, she could be missing out on a lot of things (you, especially) if she keeps waiting for something that isn't going to happen (her ex). I believe that if things are meant to be, then they will find a way of working themselves out. However, when you talked about there not being many women in the area and Amber being the best you've come by, I'm not sure if you are really in love with her or if you are just settling because you haven't found exactly what you are looking for. I just sense some hesitation but that could be because you are wondering what is going to come of you and Amber. Being the big romantic that I am, my advice would be to ask her out to dinner or a movie or have her come over
( ... )
I can't tell you how many times I have tried to "date" her. I took her to the theatre when we first met, and she made it very clear to me where she was coming from. Now she won't even let me take her on a picnic.
I've decided to stop chasing women and let them come to me. I'm ready for a serious girlfriend, but Amber has taught me that it takes two people loving each other to make that dance happen. I'm definitely open to being her man, but unless she wants that too, it is an act of futility.

I'm looking for greener pastures.
