At long last, the Irish music community of Nashville has started having sessions on Wednesday nights (when I am free), at a bar walking distance from my house. Really nice players, really nice people, and most importantly, really nice TUNES!!!

The big tune-shaped hole in my soul is starting to fill in. Yay!

I shall now start to use the phrase "like herding Irish music musicians" in my day-to-day conversation. But I'm glad you get to have sessions again.

I will, but since Ted and I are splitting our holiday between Chicago and Toronto, I'll only be around for 3 days. Alas, my family has dibs on me. :)

Woohoo!!! Send us some of those nice tunes when you get the chance... dots, mp3s, even just the names would do. Then we'll have something in common to play if we ever can get together again! Wouldn't that be fun?

I will most certainly do that! My sister Adrienne lives in Portland now, so I'll be making a pacific NW trip in the near future. Tuneage will be in order! Yes!!!

PORTLAND??? That's practically next door!! Especially compared to Wisconsin or blue grass land... But I bet you'll be coming to visit Adrienne in February, right? Sigh... that's when we'll be in England. Or, I could be wrong... :)

Keep us posted. There are some awesome sessions in Portland but we could arrange a good selection of local players up here in Seattle to lure you to my Mom's houseboat. Do you like chocolate?

Actually, I was talking to Adrienne about the idea of hopping a bus to Seattle to visit, she was pretty excited about the idea. And as far as when I would be coming up to the area, I was thinking maybe late Jan.? Will you still be around or will you be in major packing/transition mode? Or course all of these plans depend on my schedule, but... here's hoping.
