Fact: south Georgia, despite being very far south, can be very cold in December. I'm going to put out a bulletin: Dear people everywhere, unless you live in a tropical climate, having outdoor events in winter is silly! None of this December nonsense

Arizonans tend to think they can schedule outdoors all year without regard to the weather. This has made for some very cold fiddle fingers and some less-than-my-best gigs. But hey, the snowbirds can call home (like my mom does every year to Boston) and say "I'm eating chocolate and listening to music outside in December!" Hope they have chocolate in Georgia.
