So one of my favorite things about being in Bandom was how your interest in one band led you to all of this other music and these other bands, and that's pretty much what's happened with One Direction for me, so I thought I would just share a bunch of stuff with you all that I've discovered since falling for those 1D assholes ( Read more... )

Yay! One of my favourite things about bandom, too.

Can I also say that everyone should ship (as a brotp or otp, it works both ways) Maiden, that is Matt Cardle and Aiden Grimshaw. Seriously, THEY ship it. YT The Ballad of Maiden. Matt sang it about Aiden when he was voted off and edited it to include videos and pictures of them. You couldn't make this stuff up.

Ooooh so much awesome, I love everybody!

I was just about to say, I would also rec McFly because they are awesome but I don't have any way to connect them to 1D. And I was trying to figure out a way to connect them, and just as I gave up and came here to say "I have no connection though but listen to McFly anyway!", I saw Niall's most recent tweet is to/including Danny from McFly. It's like fate.

oh hey! i think 1D is actually doing some recording with Tom Fletcher of McFly for the upcoming album but I've never actually listened to McFly. I'll have to remedy that!

If I can find my McFly stuff I'll upload some for you! I definitely have a couple of albums on my old ipod.

I love McFly, they're good boys. They've done a bunch of reality tv competition type shows, and they always raise money for the same charity. Harry's girlfriend (I think fiancee actually now) Izzy founded a charity for people with brain injuries, because her brother had a serious brain injury after a car accident, and they do everything they can to raise money for that specific charity. Harry won last year's Strictly Come Dancing, Dougie is the reigning King of the Jungle (from I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here), Danny took part in this thing called Popstar to Opera Star and Tom went on a gameshow called The Cube. And they all went on Deal or No Deal as a group earlier this year.

They were also in a terrible movie called Just My Luck with Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine where they played themselves and it was kind of adorable.

so, eventually, I will be taking pretty much everything. 'except for cher because I've already downloaded her. and not one direction. because one day. one day, I do plan on paying for their stupid music and I know that if I dl it, I won't.

and though he has no connection to them you really should listen to conor maynard. I really want him and cher to sing together. and then maybe have babies.
