I am pissed that my travelog has disappeared without a trace. I was assured by the cs department that it will be back soon, but it is delaying my expression of my inner being. I want to know about the kuffiyehs and hijab! These are things I have been thinking a lot about lately, since kuffiyehs are being appropriated as "anti-war scarves" and a friend of mine recently became a hijabi.

I should have pointed out that the two were concurrent occurences, not necessarily related. He just happened to complain as I was stepping out of the car.
