weird dreams

OK, so I know that listening to people talk about their dreams can be really boring to other people who didn't experience those dreams first hand. But I've been having some really WEIRD dreams, three nights in a row. I suppose some of that may be attributed to the fact that I have been watching an episode or two of the TV show "Angel" right before ( Read more... )

personally, i find other people's dreams fascinating, always have. but maybe that's b/c i have cool dreams too. is it just the people who don't have cool dreams who don't like hearing about other people's funny dreams, or does really no one like hearing about anyone else's dreams?

i, too, like hearing about people's dreams and frequently have wierd dreams. i think telling abouit a weird dream is more fun than hearing it though, just because you get to relive it kinda. eh, i don't know.
when i was younger i read this series of books called the "Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle" books, it was all about this really nice old lady who liked children and helped cure them of their bad habits (like fighting with siblings, being a slow-poke, being a bully, etc.) all the children loved her because she was so nice and let them play like they wanted to. and this relates to the dream thing because one of the things in the books they gave as an example of why the children loved her was because she would always listen attentatively to their long, rambling, even-partly-made-up dreams, when parents would always tell them to be quiet and eat their breakfast (in the mornings).
so anyways, that's my story.

yes, reading and/or hearing about people's dreams is fun. It's fun to compare and get creeped out and all that stuff.

one winter break when i was home i watched a lot of HGTV because that's all my mom watches...i had the weirdest dreams that break, mostly involving home improvement where i couldn't put anything together and being in that weird state where i knew i was dreaming but i could not wake up. thus, i decided that one must watch HGTV in moderation and not before bed because it can be evil. watching too much of the west wing also causes the angel syndrome as well - but angel in dreams is far more attractive than leo (chief of staff) :)

hi meghan!

I agree about the HGTV...but you know, Debbie Travis is a hard addiction to break. Something about her fun accent and the paint fumes wafting through the TV screen...
