According to my benefits package (SC Blue Cross/Blue Shield State Health Plan), Ineligible dependents lose their coverage on the first of the month after becoming ineligible. But, you may want to see if that's any different on your mom's, and whether or not you're actually ineligible. I think you're eligible until 24 IF your mom still lists you as a dependent for tax purposes (at least that's how my dad's insurance worked and I think my BCBS is the same way). If you've done your own taxes and she hasn't filed with you as a dependent, then you might have a problem with being out of school. Good luck though!
