and in other news: EVERYONE, all of you (seriously) need to go out to your nearest wal-mart, best buy, target, or wherever you buy your cds at any buy instant karma, by the amnesty international campaign to save darfur. it is awesome. just plain and simply awesome. so beautiful. these are the bands/artists you get performing john lennon songs on these two cds: u2, r.e.m., christina aguilera, aerosmith with the sierra leone's refugee all stars, lenny kravitz, los lonely boys, corinne bailey rae, jakob dylan and dhani harrison, jackson browne, avril levigne, regina spektor, big & rich, the postal service, youssou n'dour, mick fleetwood with jack's mannequin, the flaming lips, the jaguares, matisyahu, snow patrol, green day, ben harper, jack johnson, and the black eyed peas. and each and every single cover is awesome. so seriously, go get it. you'll be happy you did, i promise. :-)
