I'm glad that Japan has made you so happy! But it makes me sad that coming back makes you feel so awful. It's really, really awful to hear that people here could make you feel so terrible.
You're a great person. Coming back to the states shouldn't take that away from you. You'll be able to carry all of your summer experiences with you, even if you'll be far from Japan. And when we go back to school, you'll be in Japanclass with me! It's not even close to the same as Japan, but I look forward to it.
