Ick. Breakdown yesterday; I am asking about it in asperger here.

I got big set of charcoal and pencils and things yesterday! I also got a new sketchbook. <3

My drawing has improved so much compared to a week and a half ago, when I first started creating "Gentlemen". The only problem is that I improve so much each day, and because I'm such a perfectionist ( Read more... )

Aww, I'm sorry that I can't do anything to make you feel better...=/

Yay for new art supplies!! Using charcoal sounds fun. I have charcoal-ish pencils that I barely use because I get so messy when using them.

You know what? You should just go with the flow and start your manga. I know what it feels like to want to do my art over again, but I wouldn't get any where if I did that. So I made the resolution of saying what I'm doing for "Ripe" right now is just a rough draft version, and when I finish the series, I'll go back and make a new version that's better edited and drawn, screentoned, etc.

Oh, it's fine now! I feel great!

I really like charcoal, but it is really messy. And sometimes, if you're careless, you can ruin your whole drawing. -_- Case in point, my experiments with it last night!

Alright. I'm taking your advice and starting it as we speak!
And I think I won't have canon characters in it- original for all. But I will have Doctor as the headmaster! You don't mind if I... make his personality a little... flamboyant?

That's good. =)

Aw yeah. I'm the type of person that would smudge their hand across the page so that's why I don't use charcoal much.

Yay!! ;) Psst--what's "canon" mean? I've mostly heard it when people talk about the "canon couples" of series, and I couldn't figure out what it meant. Oh, I don't mind if you make Doctor flamboyant. Ya know...kinda off topic, but I've always pictured him with a deep voice and a British accent. (-_-)

Canon is within a certain fandom and considered "official". Does that make sense? Wikipedia
I find it hard to explain. Maybe a better description is "something the fans did not create, but instead was created by the owner/writer/artist of the fandom".

Don't you wish you could make your own anime or cartoon, and add voices to your art?
