I am beginning to think that my inability to remember words might be a set-back in learning a new language.

The thing about living near an air base is that there occasionally these... noises. I'm used to the crazy roaring of Tornado F3s overhead - that's fair enough. It's just the deep sort of vibratory rumbles - doom, doom, like Godzilla's walking around - that drive me mad. Especially since I only seem to hear it in the library or the arts building.
