back in the beginning of july, i was coming home from dinner with my family when i saw some movement in the garden beside our front porch. upon further examination, there were three kittens hanging out under our front porch! i was worried for them at first, but eventually their mother poked her head out, so i felt better that they were being looked ( Read more... )

yeah, the white one was a little bit of a puffball. he was the most courageous of all three.

i wouldn't mind a kitten, if it would stay an adorable, playful kitten. but they don't.

I dunno... one of my mom's cats has stayed just as adorable and playful as when she was a kitten. She really hasn't changed much, other than less of a puffball. She's still fairly small and wiley, at 3 years old.

well, some kittens grow up to be the cutest cats ever...I used to have a cat named "Muffler" (yup, that's right) who used to love playing hide and seek and stuff. But then he got hit by a car...yup, Muffler got hit by a car...ironic, I know :(

What is up with all these pictures of kittens on livejournal today? My friends page has five or six kitten pictures on it! I feel like putting up a link for a picture of my big, gay kitty, Barry at this rate.

The white one is uber cute and is going to be a total heartbreaker. And the little cow-colored one is, too! G'luck trying to make yourself give those ones up if you decide to not keep any! They're so cute, if I didn't have two cats, I'd probably be begging for one!

well their mother was still with them, so we didn't bother bringing them inside or anything, and then the next day they had moved on.

Oh. I hate to say it, but that might be a good thing.

Bad for the kitties, because I always worry about kittens in the wild. All of our cats have been adopted cats. Two of which, we got from Newark, NJ, while my dad was working in the chemical plant.

But, good for you, so you don't get too attached and end up turning into the male equivalent of a crazy cat lady with three kittens of their mother running around the house. And so you don't end up dealing with the inevitable flea problem that come with rescuing cats from the wild.
