Jen,

I know how you feel. No one's sympathy will be sufficient enough to help your grieving become less intense.

But, I want you to know that she's happy forever now; and you're not selfish. Grieving is for ourselves, not really for the person who's passed away.

I'm so sorry and I hope that you're family can take this time to grieve together and become closer through it. (that's what happened to my family, anyway)

I'm keeping you and your family in my prayers.

I love you,

Desiree

thank you so much for your support and understanding. You are right about sympathy not making it easier but it does make it more familiar.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how you feel.
I never got to really say good bye to my grandpa and I did think that he would be around until I graduated, sometimes we just want things to be ok so badly that we can't see what's really going on, but that's ok.
you are not selfish, I was praying that my grandfather wouldn't die in the middle of finals. Death is so surreal even when it's staring you right in the face it doesn't seem like it's going to really happen. I know my words won't help much but know that you and your family are in my prayers.
I'm back in Seattle working at Starbucks on Denny and Aurora, if you want to talk I'm here.

i love you.
you loved her while she was here. and that is what matters.
and there is no way that she would ever miss your graduation or wedding, whether or not you have to reserve a seat for her.

Thankyou so much Janie! I almost cried when I read this. That is so what I needed to hear!
