I loathed it when I tried it. It struck me as an excellent resource for people with ADD - something new to look at every half a second. Maybe there are better ways of filtering to only get the things you're interested in than I found, but it felt to me like you had to wade through an enormous amount of dross to get the small handful of genuinely interesting or useful conversations. Also, I really struggled to work out how you could ever view whole conversations on Twitter. I only ever seemed to get half the picture.

It is at its best when there are multiple conversations to follow, things to discuss, ADD fodder to graze on. So one day it's enthralling, the next you are too busy, slip off the wave and get left behind. If you make it to the next wave of enthralment you may then run into a slow day. If no one is posting then no one else is reminded to post.

I think the down periods will help protect you. It is too limited a format to engage you long term.

Now to try and get rid my brain of 'You are only coming through in waves. Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying ...' Oh no. Now it's wrestling with 'The tide is high but I'm holding on ...'
