The Dyson drop down list is not quite as glorious as the Royal Opera House one (I'll dig out a link when I get a chance) but still goes beyond the usual Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms/Dr.  I know what most of them are (and they appear to be mainly religious or  miltary: Col, LCol, Cmdr etc - do religious and military clean more efficiently one wonders) but have no ( Read more... )

Canon, though it's rarely abbreviated. The Boden drop down list is similarly awesome, including Prince and Princess (though oddly not HM the Queen), Wing Commander, Commodore, Field Marshal Lord, and both Viscount(ess) and The Viscount(ess) of.

Also, I bought a Hoover last week and was offered a much more mundane list of choices. Am resigned to being a pleb.

I seem to recall from my wide experience of military life (watching Full Metal Jacket and sharing a house with a former marine) that they clean more often.
