After going to Fawn's viewing and funeral and hearing what people had to say about her, and seeing all of the different lives she has touched, I thought this quote would fit her the best. (This is one of my favorites ( Read more... )

The funeral was very very sad and of course Fawn will be missed a great deal by many people, but you're right - seeing all of the people who gathered there for her and hearing all of the ways that she has touched so many lives... the feelings that each person has will keep here presence here forever.

I want to get it out of my mind - but am having a hard time doing so because the memories are so old - It was so amazing to see and talk to her parents lastnight after so much time. Her dad and I had several good laughs that lightened our moods...

I just found out yesterday she had an LJ - the times we did talk we never talked about the internet or fukkin web blogs...I think its kind of strange to look at it. I wrote a long message to her on this entry...

when she was alive and operating the blog - she made that entry where 'all' comments are screened...so it was a perfect chance for me to write a message to her that will be stored, but will never be seen by anyone but her as only she has the password....

I hope she can see my message....:(

I don't think it really sank in for most of us until we walked in and saw the coffin. Did you go to Meg's afterwards? I think Fawn would have liked that so many of her friends old and new got together to have some drinks and talk about life.

Was that the Irish Pub? I was there and I ate and had a beer but I left after that b/c I had to be at work the next morning and was extremely tired. Normally I would of had more drinks and hung out though. I was glad to be there for a little bit though.

Yes, we had one whole side of the resteraunt filled. My wife and I had to leave at 11 (had to get back to let our babysitter get home) and there were still a hell of a lot of people there. I saw people that night I haven't seen in 12 years. It was nice to see those people but it would have been much nicer if Fawn had been around to enjoy it with us. I came across the soundtrack to the production of Dracula we did at FIT the day after the funeral, listening to it I realized she was one of the reasons that play was so awesome (not only was she in it but she helped choose the music and choreograph some scenes). It's weird the stuff that brings up memories out of the blue. I hope Dunsmoor suffers for this.

Yeah, it definitely would have been nice to have Fawn there with all us.
