Ugh, I hear you about the meme. I've only ever requested twice (one of which was extreme crack) and guess which one got filled. I miss reading good stuff. :( But then I shouldn't talk since I don't really have the gumption to write lately. Where's the creative crack drugs when you need them?!

I've written NINE THINGS for that fucking meme and have gotten ONE request filled out of about five. Now, granted, it was an art fill, and it was hot, but come ON. If only there were an enforceable rule where you had to fill a prompt for every request you made.

Now to be fair I primarily fill/request for a niche in the fandom but it's just depressing.

As for not having the urge to write - what I do is I keep a .txt of all the old unfilled prompts that intrigue me, and I go and read it every once in a while and see if something jumps out. It's actually pretty satisfying to go and fill forgotten stuff from January/February.

The prompts have been so lackluster lately, too. I mean, there's only so many ways you can write Souji/Yosuke make-up sex or Naoto getting pregnant.

Whatever. I wrote a damn novella for the kink meme, I should have an automatic fiat to get anything filled I want, and I've still only seen two fills out of the four or five things I've requested.

Haha yes. You're right about that. God, just the thought of preggo fanfiction makes me dry heave.

I also have a folder of ancient unfilled prompts I bookmarked, but I'm in the middle of a novella I started back in May so I should probably refrain from digging too much into it. I feel like an asshole when I skitter off and write a oneshot or two, because I know waiting weeks for updates is annoying (but I do it anyway...).

And I completely agree! People who write for the meme should have their requests filled no questions asked. Let's strike.

Ethan's one creepy mofo. I'm only halfway through season 3 so not everything about him has been revealed yet, but he's creeped me since Season 1.

I have this image, now, of Jack crouching beside the door, covered in dirt and holding a sniper rifle while giggling to himself. And then he gets so worked up that he has to go visit Sawyer's premature ejaculation clinic.

I haven't watched season 5 yet, but not much is known about him. Considering how he beat Jack into the ground and can apparently kill people like a ninja, I'm guessing he's at the very least, a new Terminator model. The Ethanator.

Yeah, I have Ethan issues. Forget the I-don't-know-what-asaur in the forest, Ethan is way creepier.

Yeah, that sounds like Jack. Probably mumbling "I must saaaaaaaaaaave heeeeeeeeeer" in between giggles.

Tbh I think it needs a new post already. Might spark up some better prompts.

But I don't really know if I would say it's dying. It looks more like it's just going through some down time. All kink memes tend to do that. The fact that it's con season is likely contributing to this. It could pick up again later.

idk. All I'm trying to focus on is getting through the prompt I took on and maybe going back and filling one on the first part of the meme. I've never requested anything and don't really plan to so I don't know what it's like to be filling a lot but never getting anything back.

At least it's not on the ridiculous levels the Ace Attorney kink meme is on.

I mean, I like Ace Attorney a lot, but how can a huge kink meme be made out of it? It has a good story, and I can see some fanfic and stuff coming out of it, but the biggest meme on the Net? How?
