The grandparents left this morning after being here all week and truthfully I was ready for it. also, why would anyone give you crap about going to UCONN? 'tis i great school if i may say so myself.
and plus, every college has it's ups and downs. you're totally right in that college is what you make it anyway. it really is. last semester, i liked it here, thought it was OK, but i didn't love it the way i wanted to. but this semester, i've become so much more involved, and i'm constantly busy -- and i LOVE it now.
by the way, if you do come to uconn, you may want to request living in buckley on your housing application! i'm probably living there next year. if not, i'll be close. plus, i really don't think you would like northwest. all the music/artsy kids live in the buck. it's a good time.
