although i have not read that, i will always second bill bryson. he is quirky, lovable, AND clever.

sex, drugs, and cocoa puffs by chuck klosterman, or the new book by him that i can't remember. he's funny and i think you'll find him entertaining. you should also spend that time learning dirty phrases in italian. it will be worth it.
