His plane landed about 45 minutes late. Then it took an hour to get through customs (one more thing screwed up due to Bush administration stupidity - they also took the expensive bottle of bug spray out of his suitcase when his was on the way out). By the time we got home, the dog and I had been driving around for 3 hours and Skip was exhausted so

It only took him an hour? Lucky guy! When I went through, it took almost two.

Yay! Good to be home.

I actually found the bug spray, it was in a side pouch of my suitcase, where I swear I only had shoes.

Sorry we missed Carter's party. I really wanted to be the guy who traveled the farthest to get there, but going home seemed a better idea.
