What is your salad dressing of choice?
Newman's Sesame Ginger or Trader Joe's Spicy Peanut vinaigrettes
What is your favorite sit-down restaurant?
Sitka and Spruce, but I've only been there once. Masala at Northgate is my favorite place to sit & eat butter chicken at, we've gone there two years in a row for my birthday dinner. The place I frequent the most, though, is Beth's.
What food could you go weeks without getting sick of it?
Sour gummi worms. Real-food wise, uhm. Probably eggs because you can flavor them with almost anything.
Chocolate or vanilla?
neither. When given the choice between chocolate/vanilla anything, I generally choose not to eat it because it's not worthwhile taste or calorie-wise (I really like savory things and sweet stuff doesn't usually tempt me much). Notable exceptions include most German chocolate cakes and Tillamook vanilla bean yogurt.
TECHNOLOGY
How many televisions do you have in your house?
4, I think, but only 1.5 are in use. The .5 is the movie theater in the basement, a projector screen made out of part of a shower.
Do you have a laptop?
Le sigh. No, and I need one. When the king comes I'll buy one of those mini-notebooks for traveling/not always writing in my bedroom where my desktop is located.
Mp3 player?
It's battery-less and hiding in my car somewhere. I don't use it very often. It still has Death Cab songs loaded up from when the 2006 album was new.
What is your favorite piece of technology currently?
The web browser on my crackberry, I use it alla time and my only wish is it didn't load pages with the speed of dial-up.

right is might.
Have you ever had anything removed from your body?
just clothes and a few cartilage piercings.
What is the last heavy item you lifted?
Boxes of books, they are rarely light and fluffy.
Have you ever been knocked unconscious?
Yes! It turns out that if you fly off a trampoline, arch through the air and land on your back with your arm behind you, you then break your arm and get temporarily knocked out.
STUFFOLOGY
If it were possible, would you want to know the day you were going to die?
not at all. Most knowledge is worth having, but I'm a procrastinator when it comes to getting things done by the deadline.

Natasha Badenov.
Would you drink an entire bottle of hot sauce for $1000?
Yes, but I'd want to set the terms. Like choosing the hot sauce.
DUMBOLOGY
How many pairs of flip flops do you own?
uno. I bought my first pair last summer and they still annoy me but are refreshingly cool on hot summer days.
Last time you had a run-in with the cops?
A speeding ticket the day after my birthday this year. The cop was nice, at least.
Last person you talked to?
My boss, regarding the possibility of tags for library events that are the same but take place at different locations. She is doubtful that this will ever happen because the calendar company we use doesn't like to update practical things.

Brandon, although my mom hugged me yesterday.

yeah. Except when I'm walking to the bus or have limited time on my hands, then I'm serious-faced and have a tendency to glare at ditzy drivers who attempt to turn into my personal bubble (the crosswalk).
Do you always answer your phone?
Quite the opposite. Don't leave a voicemail if you want an immediate answer! Text messages are what the cool kids send.
If you could change your eye color what would it be?
I like my baby blues, but I'd try green or grey.
What flavor do you add to your drink at Sonic?
U.m. Orange & lime! (This is one of my favorite italian soda combos, it will have to count since there aren't any Sonics nearby.)
Do you own a digital camera?
Only on my phone. I still buy disposable cameras for vacations.
Ever own fish?
Years ago. Most recently, the absentee roommate at Ze Haus owned some; we fed them out of pity because they'd make these "bloop, bloop" noises at the top of the water, but we also tried to teach Sparky how to fish.
Favorite Christmas song(s)?
"Sometimes you have to work on Christmas" and other non-traditionals that don't get played on repeat everywhere you go.
What's on your wish list for your birthday?
I got moola to fix Esme's air-conditioning!
Can you do push ups?
yeah. At my age, it would be pretty sad if I couldn't push my body off the floor using both my arms & legs.
Can you do a chin up?
One, maaaayyyybe two, but the whole process involves a lot of wiggling and kicking. I have no upper arm strength and tend to have noodle arms after rock-climbing stints.
Does the future make you nervous or excited?
both. This is a decisive summer for me in many life arenas!

everything you have texted since November 2007, muahaha! Except for that time my phone crashed because a bunch of texts came in at once, some of those messages evaporated.

Nope. The snow saved us!

I have a literary accent: I mispronounce words that I read often but rarely hear aloud or in conversation.

It's my only unplanned night! Finishing up "Pride & Prejudice" for tomorrow's book group meeting, laundry, etc.

yup. Then I learn new definitions and don't feel so bad.

But of course. For future reference, I like lavender or sunset-colored (yellow/orange tipped with red) ones.

Spending outside what you can afford. Stop that.
