Why does a black man saying 'awright' and brushing his shoulder have to mean he is channeling Jay-Z?

I feel that this is a common gesture made by all colors in American culture to say "Okay I'm not bothered by that"

Just because Jay-Z made a song about it doesn't mean that that was the sentiment Obama was intending with his gesture.

I think you are drawing parallels that don't exist in this situation.

OK So this may be kind of creepy but I saw your comment on tenebrax's post and liked your icon so I hoped over to check out your profile and realized wow - we have a lot in common. I DO REMEMBER YOU! I remember we were friends and I liked you a lot. I also remember saying something really stupid to you in the halls in middle school. It's one of those mortifying memories that still haunts me. I walked up to you and told you, in a very serious you should consider this because it could have a real impact on your life manner that because you always wore blue jeans and never shorts or anything else that people were talking and the rumor was that you didn't shave your legs.
