Duo Maxwell:
The first time that they met... well, it's complicated. Somehow, they started to talk to each other, and ever since then, Shin has been talking and dealing with Duo about random things. Not only that, but they go out to town from time to time and always treats him to tea and some food. They're also in the same Graphics Design club, as well as some other classes... not to mention that Duo also barges into Shin's room whenever he's there to study or something. Also, Duo calling Shin 'cute' makes things a bit weird from time to time. Shin just puts that in the back burner and just shrugs it off.
Kuruk:
His roommate. He is able to control the elements, and they both theorize that they were put together due to their own respective abilities. After a while, they've both managed to become friends despite Shin's usually cool, calm demeanor. They share a love of movies, good food even if that happens to be snacks that might be bad for them, but you know what? screw it, it still tastes good, and have a sort of interesting bond. They're bros, bros for life, and it seems that Kuruk think that Shin is under his tutelage in certain aspects of his life.
Shin doesn't mind it, and actually welcomes his input. He was also instrumental in his getting back into the swing of things once he came back from the past, and he's grateful to the guy just because of that.
Interesting, in a way~
Rinoa Heartilly:
A rather nice pretty person whom he met on her first day at XI. They've only talked to each other from time to time, but she has something about her... maybe her natural kindness, her smile... something that makes her a really interesting person. He hopes to talk with her a bit more to get to know her even better.

She's his figure drawing teacher, and is trying to start up a Graphics Design club. Despite him starting a bit off cold when they first met, she somehow has some sort of odd quality about her that made him be a bit more honest with her, and have so far bonded over the fact that they both have parents that are in the public eye. That, and he's somehow okay with her calling him "sweetie".
