Dreadfully bored of sitting around her apartment alone - cleaning, unpacking, and generally lazing about waiting for classes to start - Hermione decided that today she should go out exploring. Oh yeah, it seems worth a mention - Hermione doesn't know that anyone here is anything but nonmagical. She will assume everyone she meets is a muggle unless they specifically tell her they have some kind of powers or she actually sees them use magic/supernatural abilities.
