Sabrina's Sightings
by Sabrina Salmartino
Greetings, my beautiful and adoring readers. I hope you're all doing well. Of course, I'm still recovering from the fabulous auction that my dear friend Calliope Chesilwick put on for those glamourous Batchelors and Batchelorettes. To all of those who were lucky enough to snag a date with one of these celebrities, we're all jealous (of course, I'm not - I'm not jealous of anyone). And to those of you who were unfortunate enough to miss your chance to rub elbows with these lovely people, just rest knowing that some little nobody just like you actually got a break, and you might have that same chance some day.
Of course, not just the public enjoyed the festivities - it seems we've had our first date sighting. Garrett Drake, 25, was the lucky lucky man who could afford one of the exotic Patil twins on the auction block. He and Padma (Batchelorette #9) were seen on Sunday, 5 November together in a beautiful, lavish, horse-drawn carriage riding through Muggle London. I was fortunate enough to know the driver personally, and was able to chat him up for a few minutes. The couple, he said, were on their way to go ice skating and then have a cozy dinner for two. He also informed me that the carriage itself was stocked with rich, imported chocolate and a bottle of one of the most expensive French champagnes. Mr Drake certainly seems to be well off, doesn't he?
At the skating rink, the young couple were becoming quite friendly. Miss Patil clung lovingly to the young Garrett's side as the two of them glided on the shimmering, smooth ice. They did not seem to want to part from each other even for the briefest of moments, feeling their love and attraction was too strong to break the connection of the moment.
Mr Drake returned our young Padma to her flat around six in the evening. They seemed reluctant to part. The date finally cumulated to a glorious kiss, and it seems the quieter of our Patil twins initiated such deep and close contact. Perhaps she isn't all work and no play! I know you boys have been saying for ages that the most reserved ones have the wildest sides!
So, did Padma and Garrett seriously fall in love on their date, or was the whole thing premeditated? Could Garrett Drake be her serious, exclusive boyfriend, wanting to "save" his woman from another man's affection? Could the two of them be keeping their relationship private? Or does love at first sight truly exist? I shall let you ruminate upon this and decide for yourselves. Until next time, my public!
