Invitations sent by owl post to every witch and wizard in Britain, with additional posters placed in all major businesses and public offices so as not to be missed by anyone.

Parade 5:00 p.m.
Banquet 7:00 p.m.
Commemorative Service, Awarding of Submission Prizes (see below) and Speeches 8:30 p.m.
Celebrations will begin with a Parade down Diagon Alley, London, beginning at 5:00 p.m. and will continue at the Ministry Grand Banquet Hall with a fine meal and commemorative service.
Admittance is free, cash bar, and free-will donations will be accepted with proceeds going toward construction of a War Memorial to honour the Heroes and the Fallen of our most recent war.
In honour of the occasion, the Ministry is in the initial stages of designing a Memorial Display within the Wizarding Museum.
The Ministry is asking for Memorial Submissions of any sort - Art work, Poetry, Stories memorialising an individual, group or particularly moving or important event during the war, all of which will be included in the display.
Submissions for actual design and plan of the ending display are also being accepted.
Submissions received prior to the Ministry Banquet will be considered for prizes in the following categories:
Memorial Design
Art Work
Poetry
Literary Work
Photography
Submissions received after the Banquet will still be included in the Memorial Exhibit, but will not be eligible for prizes.
All Submissions become property of the Ministry for Magic and will not be returned, though credit will be given appropriately to the creator.
