Lavender was having a relaxing morning at home when she heard a tap on her window. She shuffled over and let in a very anxious owl. It dropped a letter and a bouquet of flowers before leaving rather quickly.
"What if I want to respond?" she called after it. It was no use, the owl was gone.
After reading the letter from Ron, Lavender was grinning ear to ear. He was definitely playing the gentleman. Had it been a whole week since she had last seen him?
Dear Ron,
I would love to see you cook. Perhaps you could pick up a useful cookbook at Trésor Littéraire (and see me at the same time). I am free most nights. Perhaps tomorrow night?
How about Wednesday night? Are you working? I will stop in the book store to say hello and get a book. It would be fun to try something you have picked out.

Wednesday is perfect, but I can't stay out too late because I have work in the morning. Hope that's not a problem.
