So, as you know, Jesse came all the way from Canada to visit me for two weeks. He brought presents! Everyone loves presents. =D Jesse got me a humorous book, So you want to be a Canadian? Thank you! Jesse's dad got me an inspirational magnet that says "Everything will work out in the end. If it hasn't worked out - it's not the end." Thank you!! ( Read more... )

It doesn't sound like your friends are surprised at you. The stress is on the wrong word. If they thought you weren't good enough, they'd say "That's *your* boyfriend?"

You're beautiful, smart, and fun, Peta Cat. Always remember that.

I can't wait to see the results of the belly dancing! ;D

Trust me, I could tell exactly what they were thinking. You weren't there, you didn't see their faces.

Dancing is fun! I'd dance all the time if it weren't embarrassing!

when I'm upset I can't tell people what's wrong straight away

Or at all.

And you mope too much. Stop that. Four months man. I hate you for that :P If you don't start being happy about that, I'm going to have to harm you in some mean and completely me way.

~shakes fist~

Oh hush, you.

I'm trying not to mope. You know, looking into a new hobby, inviting my friends over. Okay, so I'm still a bit mopey, especially the whole not going to TAFE thing, but I'll get over it.

*pokes tongue out at you*

I am very glad you liked the fridge magnet.
We are very much looking forward to your arrival in Canada.
For a change this year, New Years is going to be even more exiting than Christmas (and in this family, that is quite a feat!)

I do! When you first told me that saying, I wrote it on a piece of cardboard and blue-tacked it onto my monitor. Now I have a fancy version to go on the fridge, too! =^.^=

I can't wait!

OOOOoooH! Belly dancing! I have always wanted to do belly dancing. My sister did it for a while, but got bored with it. Pffft. There is this old lady who does it at her dancing school (she does have a name but she is just known as "the old lady"(: ). She is so cool. She can't move as well anymore, but she looks like she is having fun anyway.

You are such a lucky girl to have Jessie. He seems like such a nice guy who treats you well. People suck who say things like "oh is he your boyfriend?". All I can conclude is that people can be cruel. I would hardly call you ugly. Don't you remember that Mrs Harris spent all of year four trying to dye her hair the same colour as yours? Maybe we have been friends for too long, but I cannot see how you are ugly. I am jealous of your lovely skin. Humph. I wish mine was so nice instead of being so battle scarred.

Hang on to Jessie, he seems like a great sort, and let us face it there are not many of them around these days...

There's no "i" in Jesse. ;)

I've wanted to belly dancing for ages, it looks like so much fun, but I never thought I had the courage. Now we shall see!

Where did you sister do belly dancing and are they any good? I'm "shopping around" for a class.

I am very lucky, he's a wonderful guy, and I'll hang on to him as long as he'll have me.

I never liked Mrs Harris and she never liked me. My hair is an okay colour, but it is all frizzy and needs a haircut. And my skin is not lovely, it's oily and has breakouts. Your skin is much nicer than mine at the moment, you silly Mel.

boo hoo.. mel sucks... I will blame Mrs Harris for my lack of good spelling.

my skin is only lovely when liberally covered in makeup of three kinds. It is scary without it.

the girl did belly dancing at SimpleeJazz. They are very good and nice there. She still does Irish dancing there.

Remember dance and the world dances with you, and then dance some more in the privacy of your own home.

I'm looking forward to you being able to come up to the northern hemisphere. I'd pack some long sleeved stuff. We'll take you up to Whistler and show you some winter. It'll be great.

I like how your post followed something of a there until you hit the last paragraph. One of those, "Where did that come from?" moments. Certainly makes my day a little more entertaining.

Me too! I can't wait to meet everyone, you included. I'd love to see Whistler, and try to ski.

I mostly try to write for an audience, so I'm glad you liked it!
