Summer!

I'm curious, what is your absolute FAVORITE thing about summer? Sights? Smells? Activities?

I need to get in a summer-y mood, and that's hard when it's cloudy and chilly out all the time lately. :P Good ol' Alaska.

To be quite honest, I'm not a big fan of summer. Hot temperatures kill me, urgh.
On the other hand, I love summer rain and the thunder storms.

Summer rain is lovely! I love it when it's light and just the right temperature to cool me down a bit.

Exactly. I'm not a big fan of swimming too, so rain is my alternative, haha!

Same here! :P Although I don't have to worry about hot temps here, I'm still not much of an outdoor person.

I love the smell of cut grass - it gives me a total summer high! My fav thing about summer these days is lying on said grass by the castle here with the kids while they eat icecreams and run up and down :)

I have the favourite things about summer, one is summer mornings one is summer evenings, the third one is actually a place. There's a big park near where I live and in the summer the cherry blossoms along the paths are all out and drifting petals down and people are all having barbeques and playing frisbee and american football and reading in the shade.
Summer mornings remind me of when we go on holiday to Italy, it's the only time of day that it's not roasting so that's when we have breakfast and go for a walk along the lake.
Summer evenings here make the world seem mellow and soft, and there're lots of beer gardens around here so the walk home is full of people sitting out in the evening sun relaxing and having fun.

I love the blue sky, all the GREEN and the flowers... the whole package. I love going to the south, for its flora and the blue, blue sea. Yeah, I guess I'm big on colors LOL

I just wish it'd be less hot. Sometimes, it's just too much.

The colors are definitely one of my favorite things about summer, because winter can be so blah in terms of color. So I get what you're saying! :D

Smell of grass. And eating ice cream. Reading novels, outside and inside. Seeing everyone smile because the weather is nice. Feeling the sun warm my skin. Drinking cold water. Grilling. The sun being up almost all day.
