[After Turkey's threadjack yes.
So after he got that message from Marco to say where he'd be, he got instant guilt and went to find him. Geez, really, Marco was overthinking this. Even... if Turkey said some nice things, they were friends. This was silly.]

[Lays back on the rooftop looking up at the clouds and setting sun. Once again he wishes he had a brother around to talk about these things. He didn't want Japan to feel like Marco couldn't rely on him, but then who was he to go to at times like this? And without any of his brothers, Marco had absolutely no reason to hold back. Well, he had Japan, which did count, but it was still difficult since Japan didn't know how to reign Marco in like that. Then again, neither did his brothers. Still, his rambling thoughts point was that he missed having a moirail around expressly for being the person who wasn't his matesprit. Troll terms rule, okay?]
Are you saying I shouldn't be jealous or something else?
December 7th; actionfierybluebirdDecember 9 2011, 04:27:22 UTC
[Clenches teeth and a muscle in his cheek twitches. He knows Japan doesn't mean that Marco is stupid for feeling jealous, he's just also still irritated.]
You really don't see it, do you? Damn it, Japan! Stop thinking no one else could see you the way I do.
[Japan told him though, that he didn't want what he had with Marco with anyone else. So that counted for everything. But Japan thinking that no one else could want him the way Marco did, terrified him. Because it meant if Japan ever did wake up and realize there were so many others out there who did, then Marco's standing was going to drop. And he wasn't sure he could take it. Besides, for all his insistence that he only wanted Marco like that, he couldn't remember him when he was home. It was a problem.]

[Marco's eyes just flatten as he's about to retort, but then since it falls dead on his lips, he just closes them completely and focuses on calming down.
If he's honest with himself, he has to agree, he doesn't completely have rational reasons for it. He doesn't even want rational reasons. Everything about that guys rubs him the wrong way.]

He told Eridan you liked him. Don't get me wrong, I know he means as a friend. It's just a feeling. Maybe it's not fair, but that doesn't make it go away.
I'm a pirate. [Takes one of Japan's hands.] I don't like sharing. [This is obviously a reasonable excuse.] And I'm still getting used to... How long have you been friends with him?
December 7th; actionasideglanceDecember 9 2011, 04:47:44 UTC
[Marco the paranoid pirate... No but anyway, Japan is just frowning at this, trying to think. Just a feeling? Gosh, and he thought Greece and Turkey were a difficult thing to deal with. NOW THIS.
Hm. He stares at his hand when Marco takes it.]
...Getting used to...? Ah, but... Around the 19th century, I believe. That is... [The 120th anniversary was last year, but he's thinking maybe he shouldn't say that.]
December 7th; actionasideglanceDecember 9 2011, 04:57:13 UTC
[Wahhh knuckles]
His home is quite far from mine. Ah, and the times I visit Turkey-san or Greece-san, they end up finding me with the other and arguing... I am not sure how this happens.
December 7th; actionfierybluebirdDecember 9 2011, 05:01:26 UTC
[He drops the hand and just tugs Japan into a hug and mumbles into his neck.]
Thanks for coming to find me, eh.
[So long as Japan kept doing things like that, it always reassured Marco that the man saw through him enough, and cared enough to come soothe his troubles. With that, he knew he could get through anything, lack of nakama or not.]

[He totally made a :| face at that comment, but oh, being pulled into a hug. He flushes, because as "used to it" as he's gotten, that's so intimate!! And then he quietly returns it.]
I would not wish to leave Marco alone, after all. Ah... but I had wanted to invite Turkey-san for tea. Will this be an issue? [He can just ask Marco to leave...]

...Marco?

Bushido. [It's a little curt for Marco, though none of the typical affection is missing.]

Marco should not worry so much...

I am saying there was no reason for it in this case. Ah... in case Marco was wondering.

I apologize. ...But I do not understand what Turkey-san did to make Marco think that.

We've had relations for around 120 years.

I see. [Lightly knuckles the top of Japan's head.] And you led me to think you were such a lonely man usually.
