They're generally rather informal occasions, as I understand them, but I think you're supposed to bring something to the table yourself... Maybe there's a specific way to sit... Was I not supposed to sit to the right of the host?

Okay... I think I'll go get some food to bring and make sure he gets some clean water. I mean it is a little messed up out here, maybe that's why.
