Presentation yesterday with deadweight partner: so-so. I forgot to warn him that I actually write slides like you're supposed to, as in only the main points are written down and you're supposed to elaborate on them, so he presented his half by ... reading off the slides, word for word. Have 2 and a half weeks left to turn in my thesis.
Also due this month are:
- 30% project for one subject
- 20% essay and presentation for that same subject
- 15% presentation for another subject
- 20% project for that subject
how much have I started doing? Er. Not much.
So: I am pretty bloody screwed.

You know how in fiction writing, you want to leave some stuff up to the reader's imagination - like, say, how spending five paragraphs describing a room's decoration in exhaustive detail is usually frowned upon?
Academic writing is the exact opposite.
