If there was a group, no matter how sweet and kind and accepting that the members were, if the staff was conservative and unwelcoming and believed in something I was vehemently against, I wouldn't attend either. Sort of like how no son of mine will ever be in the boy scouts.
But yeah. No matter how nice the members of Westboro Baptist are in my hometown, there's no way I'd join them. :P Not that I'm comparing your group to WBC, I'm just exaggerating for effect.
