I think we might have some very similar preferences. I'd be interested about some of your opinions on particular scents.

Well based off of that little list is there anything else in the Alice/Dorian(they seem similar to me) types that you have found really interesting? And what rose scents are your favorites? I have Peacock Queen and Last Rose of Summer so far. Also, I ordered an imp of The Lion in my last order that I'm waiting on, so I'd just like to hear more about that. Besides the last Weenies and Yules(and whatever they have at Whole Foods) I don't have much BPAL experience so I'd like to learn more from BPAL vets.

I'm curious what you think of Comforting Plush Companion and Mircalla. I've got CPC on my own list and I've been considering Mircalla. I'd love to hear a firsthand opinion of them.

I just discovered my first BPAL that has me hooked. Went to a friend's house and she had about 8 imps to smell, and I LOVED Phantom Queen.

Once you figure out what works on your skin and what doesn't it's way easier to narrow down what you want to try. The thing about oil-based scents (vs pefumer's alcohol based ones) is that each scent will interact with your skin chemistry differently, so what works on you and what doesn't may really surprise you.

If you have a starting idea of what scent categories you like (IE floral, gourmand, citrus, minty, oriental, etc.) I or other people on the BPAL forum can help you pick out starter scents!

You are going to have to explain this BPAL thing to me. I am wanting to know and try.

It's perfume oils; sooooo many different mixes: http://www.blackphoenixalchemylab.com/

Start there and read through some of the scent descriptions.
