You know how sometimes you get those weird spam emails from someone in Ghana or wherever, telling you that they have a stash of gold, and need you to help them? GAH. Sadly, this is why those schemes are still around -- because there's always a few people out there who so badly want to believe them.

The jokrack guy above already said what I was about to say. How could someone fall for such an obvious scam?

I think you should still educate her no matter what your position -- I'm sure she'll appreciate you saving her some money. Or maybe you can anonymously slip an article about these kinda scams on her desk on your last day. ;) Or maybe you can report the guy through www.ic3.gov
