The call for passengers to board was announced and Junno held onto Ueda’s hand tightly as the walk to the gate. He was trying hard not cry in front of Ueda.
“It’s just five months. It’s not like he will be gone for a year,” Junno thought to himself.
“Junno… I will always love you. Wait for me” Ueda soft caressed Junno’s cheeks. “I will be back soon alright?”
Junno tried to fight back his tears but failed terribly and it began falling down his cheeks. He hugged Ueda tight while burying his face onto Ueda’s shoulders.
“There… There… Shush~” Ueda try to comfort the other by patting his back slowly.
“I miss you already Uepi~” Junno looked up still with teary eyes.
Ueda wiped away the tears and placed a warm kiss on Junno’s forehead, moving to his nose and both his cheeks and lastly, not forgetting his lips. It was a slow kiss. They parted and they look at each other gaze.
“Ne~ Uepi… Promise me one thing,” Junno broke the silent.
“Uhm?”
“Don’t fall for anyone over there alright? No matter how hot they might be,” Junno looked on the floor embarrassed at his own statement.
Uepi lifted Junno’s chin so their eyes could meet again. “I promise I won’t because I’ve already gotten the best.”
He closed the gap again with kiss. After which Ueda headed in. Junno waved endlessly and watches as the figure he love disappear beyond the barriers.
“Uepi~” he whispered the name softly.
