Yuto stared at the familiar figure in front of him.
“Haven’t we met before?”
“You remember me?”
“You’re that guy that barge into my ward the other time!” Yuto eyes widened. “What are you doing here?”
Yuto quickly hid behind his dad. Keito smile almost turned upside down as Yuto still couldn’t remember him. However, he was still a little bit happy that Yuto had a memory of him from that day. Even just a part of Yuto's memory was considered precious to Keito.
“Yuto, please don’t be like that to our guest”
“Demo… Papa, he’s a mad person!” Yuto pouted as he looked at his dad.
Keito laughed at the cute face Yuto had made.
“What are you laughing at?!” Yuto glared. “You see! He’s laughing to himself for no reason”
“Now now Yuto… Let’s sit down for dinner and we’ll talk”
“Hai…” Yuto looked at Keito and walked away. "He looks cute when he smiles like that"
Yuto's heart skipped a beat as he thought of the smile he saw.
“Come on in Keito. You can take the seat beside Yuto”
“Mou~ Papa…” Yuto pouted.
“I can sit somewhere else if you want” Keito walked to the other side of the table.
Keito ended up sitting in front of Yuto instead while Yuto’s dad sat beside Keito.
Yuto’s mom soon joined them at the table and sat beside Yuto.
When they were almost done with the meal, Yuto’s dad cleared his throat and called for attention.
“Now, Yuto… I know you have been playing with Yamada-kun most of the time and have not interact with anyone else” Yuto’s dad said firmly.“Of course! Yama-chan is my most bestest friend ever!” Yuto smiled widely.
Keito felt his heart was stabbed by the words that Yuto had said. The smile that Yuto had just for him no longer seemed to be the same as it seems to be shared with someone else other than him. Yuto saw the sadness in Keito’s eyes and felt guilty but he couldn’t think of the reason why. He felt a throb on his head. However, he merely shook it away.
“Well Yuto, I have a bestfriend too. His name is Mr Okamoto. I talk a lot about you and we kind of thought that maybe Keito could meet you and go out together sometimes”
“Why?” Yuto was surprised with the sudden idea.
“You like to play drum don’t you?”
“Un!”
“Keito loves playing guitar” Yuto’s dad explain.
“That means you guys can play together. You can make music together!” Yuto’s mum smiled widely.
“Hmm. Alright” Yuto thought about the idea.
“Yay! I’m glad Yuto is willing to go out with me” Keito smiled happily and went over to hug Yuto. “I can’t wait!”
Yuto blushed at the contact. He tried to turn away so Keito couldn’t see his blush but it was too late.
“You’re so cute when you blush” Keito said softly.
“What?” Yuto pushed Keito away.“You’re weird!”
“Demo~ You really are cute” Keito looked at Yuto while pouting.
"So cute!" Yuto squealed to himself internally.
“Oh! Yuto can cook too! He cooked the best Italian food!” Yuto’s dad exclaimed excitedly.
“That’s right. He can make bentos when you guys go out to play music next time” Yuto mum smiled softly.
“Uwah! I can’t wait to eat Yuto’s cooking” Keito was excited just thinking about the idea.
Yuto felt lost at words as he touch his face where the scar was.
“I’m not cute at all! I have a scar on my face. Since when can I cook?!” he finally looked up with teary eyes.
All of them stopped for a moment, stunned at Yuto's reaction. Yuto wanted to run to his room but before he could move Keito wrapped his arm around Yuto. Yuto breathe hitched. He felt safe in Keito’s arm at that moment.
"What is this feeling?" he questioned himself.
“It’s alright. Everything will be okay” Keito whispered to Yuto calmly. “To me, you’re cute and that’s all that matters”
"Why do I feel like I can trust his words when I just knew him?" Yuto thought to himself again.
Yuto's parents felt their heart soften as they saw the scene in front of them. They nodded to each other reassuring themselves that everything will turn out just fine.

A/N: Well.. I'm procrastinating... I'm getting nightmares and waking up with my body aching and crying. Ah well... I will finish the fic soon. I remember the points I wrote but rewriting the fic, it seem my plot is changing. Oh no~~
