Yuto let go of Keito for awhile and smiled softly.
“Keito, I know I promise you before that I won’t leave you but if you love someone else…” Yuto looked down. “As long as you’re happy, I would be happy for you too”
“Baka” Keito kissed Yuto’s forehead. “Did you forget that I promise I won’t let you go?”
“Demo…”
“I lost you once. I won’t lose you again,” Keito whispered to Yuto.
“What do you mean by again?” Yuto was confused.
“The person I loved and love is you,” Keito put his forehead against Yuto. “After losing his memory in the car accident, I've been waiting for the person. That person is you, Yuto. It has always been you”
“Keito…” Yuto tried to process what he was told.
He felt a sharp pain in his head. He tried to shake it off but it became more painful.
Yuto fell on his knees, groaning while holding onto his head.
“What’s wrong?! Yuto?” Keito held onto Yuto.
“Pain~!” Yuto continued to groan and he suddenly fainted
“Yuto!” Keito eyes widened as Yuto fell unconscious.
Keito quickly called the ambulance and their parents to inform them what had happened.
As Yuto began to stir from his sleep, his parents went forward to see if he was alright.
“Where am I?” Yuto held his head as he felt it was heavy. “What happened?”
Yuto tried to move his right hand but couldn’t. He saw Keito lying beside his bed holding his hand tightly. Yuto caressed Keito’s hair and the touch woke Keito up.
“Yuto?” Keito looked up at Yuto. “Yuto! You’re awake!”
“Of course I am silly…” Yuto smiled.
“Ne, Yutorin…” Keito cupped Yuto’s cheeks. “Do you remember anything that happen before this?”
Yuto closed his eyes and leaned into the warm hands he missed so much.
“Uhm” Yuto opened his eyes “Gomen ne. Hontou nig omen Keito”
“Daijoubu” Keito hug Yuto “It’s alright. Everything is okay now”
Yuto’s parents left the ward to join the Okamoto. “Everyone must be tired. Let’s leave them alone”
“Uhm” Okamoto-san agreed. “Let’s go home”
“Keito… I feel so disappointed in myself that I forgotten you.” Yuto started to cry.
“There. There. Don’t cry. It wasn’t your fault,” Keito patted Yuto’s head.
“You love me till the end even when I couldn’t remember you and even push you away”
“Daijoubu deshou…” Keito smiled. “You accepted my proposal already”
Yuto blushed remembering the proposal.
“We will get married soon and live together” Keito smiled wider. “We can have kids if you want”
Yuto eyes widen at Keito and he blushed harder. “What do you mean?”
“We can adopt kids if you want” Keito kiss Yuto’s lips.
“Keito…” Yuto felt tears coming. “Arigatou. For everything”
“I should be saying that. Aishiteru Nakajima Yuto” Keito kiss Yuto gently on his lip.
They broke apart for a moment, “Aishiteru mo Okamoto Keito”
It was fate’s play to make them go through such pain. However, it was love that made them strong. “Even if it would take eternity to make you remember me, I would still stay by your side”
“You don’t have to wait eternity for me because my heart only belongs to you”
“We both belong together past, present, future, forever”
“Uhm! Zettai! Forever even till our next life”
