Name that dog

wardytron and I have spent many months in debate over what we are going to call our 2nd whippet doggykins. We liked Oscar because it sounds cheeky and fun, but unusual and ever-so-slightly posh. Also, it shortens to Oz, and both are great to shout over Hove Lawns ( Read more... )

I don't like Alfie for a dog's name, only cos I like that name for a person.
I don't like animals having people names really.
You don't get people called Spot or Rover.
Oz/Oscar is alright. I like that name for a dog. Mainly cos I don't like it for a person.

*I* know what I mean!
