Whoo!! So happy! I was starting to lose hope and actually settle for fast food or Woolies or something. I mean, out of that range, I would've liked to work at the ice rink the most, despite it's lousy conditions. It'd come with free ice time, which I need for practising ( Read more... )

I know that shop, it isn't tacky, well certainly most of it isn't (but they certainly aren't really for the demure XD) - and they probably are real.
Good to haer you didn't have to settle for a fastfood joint or something ^-^

Hehe yes, when I realised I was thinking of the wrong shop and what the right one was I thought I better recify my comment as it was quite wrong XD
Yes, we quite probably did and were - I was trying to fit in as much of my Christmas shopping as I could before the movie I was supposed to see started XD

Thanks Fujiko! It's just a stand so there isn't a lot of room, but I think I'd get so much more tired like at a checkout where you can't move at all. And yeah, I feel so lucky since I'd never had a job before now ^_^

Yup, getting my first pay was very awesome indeed! Until I realised I had no idea what to do with it XD. Dad told me how to deposit it in the bank, or like how to fill out those little deposit slips, and I go to the bank and they're not there! So I asked and the guy says "You don't need one anymore." Whoops.
