Angsty pretty people
Making fanvids: it is rather addicting.
Not so addicting is all the gruntwork that goes into it--painstakingly poring through three seasons' worth of DVDs looking for just the right clips (and trying to find that one scene where they had that one conversation becomes a lot more difficult when your fandom's episode titles consist of stuff like "8 am to 9 am" or "2 pm to 3 pm"), slowing your computer to a crawl every time you have to rip an entire five-minute-long chapter when you only need a thirty-second scene (and then you only end up using two seconds of that anyway), and so on. But you do get to spend long stretches of time looking at hot people angsting at each other and making out!
And just in case YouTube pulls it, since they have a tendency to do that sort of thing, it can also be downloaded here. The file is 68 MB since I'm still too much of a vidding novice to figure out how to make it smaller without losing quality--but I have to say I was pretty pleased with how the quality came out.
Disclaimer: On the off chance anyone notices the song in this vid is the same as the one in sache8's BSG vid that I recced not long ago: yes, this vid was inspired by that one, and yes, I okayed it with her before I got far into production on this one. Hers is much better! < / vidding noob >
